Does anyone know where I can get an ID changer to play my backup ps2 games online? I know one site is unavalible, but I don't know any other places to go. Can someone please tell me. Also, how do you use the id changer? Please help.

yeah it free, you just have to sign up (which is also free). then on the left side there is a downloads link. They have all the ps2 programs made and are not dicks like ps2ownz.

O.K. I downloaded it and I double liked on the folder. Then it came up with a whole bunch of other documents and folders. What do I press on? Also, how do I use the id changer download while burning a backup ps2 game?

Im sorry, i misunderstood what you wanted. what you downloaded is the machine id changer that you use the change the id of your ps2 if you get banned. pm me your email address and i will send you the programs you need. Also, tell me if you want the dvd or cd version of the disc id util.

O.K. for the ps2info download, where it says search files do you get the file where you burned the backup ps2 game. Then when you find the file. What happens next. Also, how does the other download work. How do you get it running. What file do you press on. Please write back.

the dvd id utility is burned to dvd. you load it with swap magic. once it loads, you hit eject and put in the ORIGINAL game you need the id from.
The ps2nfo file is used to patch the id from above, to the iso image of the game thats on your hd. you then burn the patched image to dvd. You are going to have to reburn your game because you can only patch it on your hd.

Which one is easier? For the id utility, what do you do again. You burn it onto the backup game?

you use both programs. You have to get the dnas id off the original game by using the disc id utility.
You then take that id and patch it to your backup using the ps2nfo program.

no, it just reads it. Your ps2 can't change anything on a disc.

Just read here for full information:
http://www.ps2nfo.com read the faq and read the online area.
You can choose two programs to insert you obtained ID into your iso file.
Not choose the paradox version but the ps2nfo utility because the ps2nfo tool is more simple.
