Good morning,
I installed Verizon DSL 2 weeks ago onto my 2 month old HP PC with Windows XP(80 gig HD with 256 RAM,the HD is at 30% of capacity). The DSL worked well for a while. Last weekend I think I made a mistake and let my daughter talk me into signing up for Kaaza. Kaaza worked great for the 1st day and then the next day my computer slowed down to a slugs pace. Not just my Verizon DSL connection(freeze ups/ssllooowww..) but the rest of my MS applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Games... My 1st instinct is to take the Kaaza off immediatley, not sure if that will be the final fix. Anyone else have the same experience and how did you handle?

Thx
BM

KaZaa is full of Adware, Spyware and Viruses.

You might want to get a few programs and run them.

Goto www.download.com and download
Ad-aware SE
Spybot Search and Destroy
Adware Away

then go to housecall.antivirus.com and run an online virus scan through your computer.

Not Kazaa Lite, if you can find a working link for it.
