i read on the news page of this site a week or so ago that ea is doing something to there games that makes it difficult to play backups. is this true or am i misunderstanding what i read? if its true can someone tell me where to find out what games and how to get good backups that can be played.

they must not have implemented it yet, because madden 05 was easy to backup.
