Ok, I've been using DVD to Divx for quite a while and now have started to use DVDx, which is essentially the same. I started to use it to resolve this problem that has occured. I try to rip audio, even by itself, and I get little hiccups in the audio. It's is incredably noticable and happens every few seconds during play back. I've tried reinstalling sound card drivers.

I tried disabling the audio / video sync and then I recieve good sound. So it sound like the video may be going at a different rate then the audio, I have tried different DVD's that have worked fine in the past but still yeild these terrible results. I think this may have happened before, but anyone know of what would fix this ? I am thinking replacing the sound card, since this one is a cheap one.

Thanks to any one's suggestions
