Hi Y'all. I have a couple of questions for the cognoscenti.
1.] After ripping a dvd, (Babylon5, Seaon3, disks 1 and 2 of a 6 disk set), using Decrypter to select the menus and the main feature only (with DVD Shrink3.1) I found that none of the episodes were selectable when I played the DVD. They played OK and in sequence, thats all. The 'select menu' screen was visible but the DVD ran through from PLAY to the end of the last episode, ie. with no control over episode selection. This was the first episodic dvd I have tried to back up, all other dvd's I have backed up have been one continuous film/file and I have had no trouble as menu selection has never been a requirement. There were no problems playing the original Babylon dvd's.
Although the second question is not directly related to Decrypter/Shrink I did try to use the s/w to determine what vob's were needed/not needed and try to solve the menu problem.
2.] I have a problem with VOBRATOR v0.2 beta. I set the "Open and Scan" button, select the vob's for the above disks in turn and then hit RUN button. I hoped that this would allow me to view the contents of each of the the selected VOB id's. Instead, I get a warning window - VOBRATOR PREVIEW with the legend "Failed to Render Graph". This warning flag shows after selecting each and every VOB in turn. I have googled for a solution but nothing turned up on the general web and I am hoping that I can get help on a specialst forum. Is there a problem with the s/w or am I missing a trick with it's set-up/operation.
Any suggestions or help for both questions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
