switching form 80 to 120 gig HD

I had a guy but in my chip and an 80 gig HD, but now I'm thinking about going to a 120 gig HD.
If I want to switch my 80 gig to a 120 gig, will I be able to just copy everything thats on the 80 over to the 120 and it will all work just like that? (just copy and swap) or is there more to it?
