BTC 1008 can't write Ridata G04 well

I burned seveal RiDataG04 by BTC 1008 ( lateset firm 0059) x4 mode, but most of discs shows read error on dvdinfopro. (Nero or CloneDVD2 finishes writing). Dvdinfopro shows read error around 74%. I used Sony DW-UA50 x1 to burn, it writes without errors.

Has BTC 1008 a problem, need a certain firmware or just a crap ?

Have you tried burning the Riteks at a lower speed on your BTC?

I have burned one disc with x2, this disc has no read error. So I guess I need to burn G04 by x2.

Some burners can be real picky with certain makes as you've found out.
