i have dvd dycryter and i followed the steps. i use dvd+r memorex discs for ps2 burning games 'Mode' menu, select 'ISO' -> 'Write'.Put a blank disc in your DVD Writer.
Click the little folder icon - 'Browse for source file' - and select the MDS file created for you as part of the steps above.
Click the big 'Write' button.
Finished! now here comes the tricky the ps2 i have isps2model: V5/V6/V7

that's what i odered. no when everthing is in place like like the no solder modchip and the swap magic already in open up the disc drive on the ps2 take the swap magic out and do i put the memorex dvd+r disc in and wait for it to boot up

but i still do not get it how come no mod chip b/c they blow fuses.

1. yes fliptop will work, get the one for your version

3. cd is for cd backups, dvd is for dvd backups
4. a lot of people with the no solder mods blow fuses. the fliptop accomplishes the same thing but doesn't change any of the internal workings like the no solder mod does.
