Hope someone can help me out here?

When decoding my Mpeg/DIVX backup movies to DVD using NERO (and other programs I have tried)NERO shuts itself down half way through the encoding process, usully after about 2 hours. There are no errors, no warnings, just Shutdown. All my other programs continue to work. Ive reinstalled NERO 6 plus all of the updates and patches 3 times now,but im still getting the same problem. It also happens with other Encoders that I have tried, which suggests its possibly a hardware problem. Its not the files being decoded because It happens on all formats.

My PC Spec is WIN XP Home, 3.2Ghz P4. 1GB RAM, 128MB Geforce Video Card. All of the latest service packs are installed.

Anybody have any ideas as to why this might be happening?
