is it possible to simply view the guy game video after simply ripping the game to your computer? I am just wondering if you can just watch it on your computer? thanks

The best way I know how to record video game vids to a disk/tape is by hooking up the console's A/V cables to your VCR (instead of your TV). Routing your PS2 this way gives you the capability to record the game and every scene viewed. When you see the game start up, insert a VHS cassette, press record, and voila'. You can now archive all the games you want. I would do this when I was a kid, to prove to my friends that I beat Mike Tyson on, "Mike Tyson's Punch Out."
