I have gone to every forum possible to figure this out and im stumped.
I have an image of battlefield 1942 i have tried alcohol 120% and daemon tools, and no matter what i do, the game will not detect the cd.
I tried the battlefield 1942 no cd crack and the first time i used it... it WORKED. I got cocky and decided to try to install road to rome on top of it but that messed it up and now i cant get it to work again.
for those of you that have tried the nocd crack, i have narrowed it down to a problem with the mod.dll file in the mod folder that comes in the crack. With the original mod.dll file it says Please insert the correct cdrom in your drive and click to restart the program. with the cracked mod.dll file the game acts like it wants to load but then stops and goes back to windows.
Im desperate for help so if anyone has experienced this please let me know.
