I have many VHS tapes that I have been unable to copy using a DVD recorder. I have read in another post here that a SIMA GoDVD! that enhances the picture quality will overcome this, but I have not purchased it yet. I took a tape to work and someone in the media lab ran on a VCR with a TBC (time base corrector?) and was able to copy the tape easily. My question is, does the SIMA GoDVD! have a TBC in it? I have checked online for other TBC products and they all are very expensive, so I wonder if the SIMA really does this.
