Burn speed, suddenly changed

I have been using DVDShrink 3.1.7 and was able to copy at Max speed, 2x speed or 1x speed. Suddenly it now only gives me Max speed and 1x speed, but which ever I choose it burns at 1x speed.
I have just upgraded to 3.2, but exactly the same is happening.
I have checked the DMA settings and they seem ok, i have changed no settings and it happened straight after i had burned 1 disc and was starting to burn another. Can anyone help me with this problem.

Hi Caz. :)
My guess would be you're using the trial version of Nero and it has ran out.
If that's the case, simply un-install/re-install it. ;)

Does that really work - Don't Nero "remember" that there has been a prior demoversion installed that has expired if you just download a new 30-day evalution period?

Have you recently changed the media you're burning to?
Have you tried with other media?

Tried a different disc and back to normal. The discs i had been using are a 4X disc, but will only allow 1X. Wont be buyig them again!!!
