DVD2SVCD (TMPGenc 2.5 vs 3.0 Xpress)

When setting up the TMPGENc software it tells you it runs in trial for 30 days ....

When you go to encode your video it says you have access to the TMPGENc software for 30 days ... that I understand...

But it appears there is a 3.0 Xpress version of the TMPGENc software available as well ... but it you try and use it with DVD2SVCD it tells you something to the effect of "this project was not created in Xpress 3.0" and it stops there ...

My question is this ... should I just go ahead and buy the 2.5 version from the website and be done with it??? and secondly .. am I missing anything with the 3.0 software or is it not even an option with DVD2SVCD ...
