Hey everyone, I just got my ps2 install with the matrix infinity chip, I've been tryin to back up my games but it doesnt work.
My have a version 7 ps2
Matrix infinity chip installed
I have a Dvd+r/w burner
Can anyone help tell me how to make backup and what dvd should I use? thanks

You need dvd-r games. I pick mine up from <www.buysomeadspace@afterdawn.com> Just use a straight copier like nero or something, it does the job.

use Alcohol 120% program to backup your games. i heard ritekg04 dvd is a better for burning backups.

So I have to use Dvd-r ? also can a dvd+r burner to burn a dvd-r?

no you dont need to use DVD-R with a version 7. version 7 will accept DVD+R as long it is good enough quality such as ritek, maxell, or verbatim. to make a backup you can use pretty much anything that will make an iso on your hard drive and let you burn it. i personally use Alcohol 120. you may be able to burn DVD-R with a DVD+R burner if you get a firmware hack forr you particular burner (do a google search) but you end up ruining it in the process.
