I'm using sony branded dvd-r's right now burning on 1x speed using dvd decryptor.

i've notice a very low scratchy noise coming from the ps2 everytime i play a back up. but the noise decreses when i play originals or import games. Is this the problem of my media or is the top quality media has this problem too?

The game works flawlessly, i'm just concerned that i'm hurting this ps2. I'm only playing it an hour at a time with about 45 mins or more breaks in between

is this normal for a modified ps2 v7 with dms 3 flashed 2.3?

i'm just concerned cuz this is my 3rd ps2 that i had, and i don't want anymore problems.

but my imports and originals are fine

is the mitsui dvd-r have little scratchy noises when it's loading too?
