Hi,

I've been looking at getting DVD backup/ripping tools
for both my Mac and my PC's (ideally, the same program on both platforms) with really good, pro audio capture
(i.e., 5.1 at 24-bit).

So far, the only one that has caught my eye on the Mac is DVDxDV... is anyone using it, or has had any experience with it?
What elese is a really good, reliable, pro app.on the Mac?

On PC, I thought that DVDxCopy Platinum was it, but now that I've just started getting into it, I've found out that perhaps with Shrink, Decrypter and possibly DVD2One, I wouldn't meed much else.
Also, because I was still on Win98 on my PC's (using mainly GigaStudio), using Nero was a real hassle, as it somehow stuffed up my ASPI driver.

Anyhow, I'll stick to Mac-related topics, so any info on DVDxDV will be much appreciated... it's not super-cheap, and who knows if they're still in business?

Cheers,

Ric
