Hi, I'm new to the forums. Greta site too.

I recently bought an MSI DVD burner for my pc.
Then after about 1 month it started going funny.
When i play DVDs from the drive the are all "skippy", cracks/pops in the sound, and jerky frames.

I was playing with media player, (which used to work fine). Tried other software, same prob, so i returned it.

They sent me http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=DR8P&class=osd (MSI DR8 P)

It worked fine for about 3 days, but now its started with the same problem!

I am using brand new original DVDs, which used to work fine.

Please help as the supplyer had no idea what was wrong with the first one!
