FTP XBOX problems

Hi all,

I cant get craxtion or flash fxp to connect to my XBOX, I can I think ping the xbox as i get a reply message when i use ping 192.168.100.1

but that is all I can do, I am trying to connect via crossover cable.

Have you got a dynamic ip on your xbox and not static?

If you have a firewall on then turn it off and try it again.

I have a static IP - i think

in the system management - system settings
in blue i have

IP - 176.91.4.0
Line Status - 100/fullduplex
in white
static ip - yes
ip - 192.168.100.1
subnet -255 etc
default gateway - 192.168.0.1

the evox.ini file i used has the following in it

SetupNetwork = Yes
StaticIP = NO
Ip = 192.168.1.200
Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
Defaultgateway = 192.168.1.1
DNS1 = 194.63.248.1
DNS2 = 217.13.7.140
SkipIfNoLink = No
SetupDelay = 0

I am uising a crossover cable to connect to the xbox
I only have windows sp2 firewall and norton antivirus 2004.

did you turn the windows firewall off in xp sp2? It's in the control panel...
