Burning .BIN and .CUE to DVD-R

Hi - Having just upgraded to a DVD writer, I am looking at burning .BIN and.CUE PS2 files to DVD-R. My drive is a Pioneer and I use Datawrite Red discs.

Having looked through the FAQ, I am wondering if its worth sticking with burning to CDR's as I am not sure that my chipped PS2 will play DVD-R's.

Anyway - Could someone guide me through burning .BIN and .CUE to DVD-R using Nero 6, please? I have alredy tried using the wizard and selected DVD-ROM, though when it comes to burning it still tries to do it as a CD-R.
