What is the best media you guys can recommend using on my v12 ps2 to backup ps2 games and dvd movies, also which is the best prog to use for both ps2 and movies......i have swap magic 3.6+ with magic switch pro !

What's the trick to back up Ghost Recon 2 i have the new slim ps2 and i backed up many of games with DVD Decrypter and I use swap magic 3.6 but when I insert Ghost Recon 2 I get the insert Sony formatted disk.

ghost recon 2..hmm,should work with 3.6,
try using dvd loader

my mistake i have ver. 3.3 in swap magic should this vers. work also. What dvd loader and were can i get it.

Hursty,
How did you burn True Crime: Streets Of L.A
Because everytime I try it goes to the ps2 logo then freezes or sometimes go to the red screen saying its not a playstation format disk.

I tryed that but it only goes to when the guy kicks the screen. Then it goes to the red screen saying its not a Playstation Format disk

then something must be wrong
you have either a dodgy ps2(laser may need a wipe),crap disks,are burnt it to fast.,because this game copies perfectly

This thread is long and I just felt like I would post my results with my games. I'm sure they'll all be duplicated somewhere along this entire post, but here's my list from only being "modded" about 2 months now.
I burn from a Dell Latitude Laptop with an NEC DVD-RW onto Sony DVD+R or Verbatim DVD-R media at slowest speed possible using only Alcohol 120%.
I play with Swap Magic 2.0 disks on a V7 PS2.
Area 51 (works perfectly)
Burnout 3 (works perfectly)
Champions Return to Arms (requires DVDLoader v7)
Destroy All Humans (works perfectly)
Devil May Cry 3 (works perfectly)
Disgaea (works perfectly)
Dragonball Z Boudokai 3 (works perfectly)
God of War (patched SONIX requires DVDLoader v7)
Lego Star Wars (converted to DVD, but works perfectly)
Naruto Narutomitte Hero 1 & 2 (works perfectly)
Need for Speed Underground 2 (works perfectly)
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (works perfectly)
Psychonauts (requires DVDLoader v7)
Ratchet and Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal (requires DVDLoader v7)
Spiderman 2 (works perfectly)
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (works perfectly)
Stella Deus (works perfectly)
Suikoden III (works perfectly)
Tekken 5 (works, but no Devil Within or Arcade due to 2.0 SM disks)
Games I'm currently working on but forsee no problems with:
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga
All games are NTSC as I dont bother with the whole PAL conversion stuff.... yet. All games still reside comfortably on 300Gb external HDD in case of DVD damage.
Lord Bacon: What does age matter? I'm 31, yes I play games, yes I backup games. If Hursty wanted to save Greyskull, leave him be. Who the F are you to judge him?

Sorry bout that hey i can get Midnight club 3 to work boot the opening movie then it just frezes like at a spinning wheel thingy
