i just did the same thing andmerr in the what car you drive thread...did it exactly as you are saying, it doesn't work for me either? i think i am just retarded at loading pictures~ :)

i think its our setting on our pcs kivory666 .A spyware program blocking it or a popup blocker. iam doing everything right and i just not working

these pictures that you are using , are they ones on your pc that you have uploaded to an image site or are you trying to take the properties from an image on the net and then trying to get them shown here.IF its the latter that may be the problem as some sites wont allow hot linking as it chews the bandwith of the host site.You need to save the pic by right clicking and save image to hard drive.Then upload it.Once its on the image site you just right click, go to properties and copy the address (url) and place that between the brackets.It also wont work if one lot os brackets is lower case and the other is capital etc .You no how you bold some thing.Same principle but with img

i am at home right now buddy, the pics that i am trying to put up on here are actual pictures i took of my car and saved them to my hard drive, i uploaded them to imageshack, and all i get is links to them in the thread~ weird...

yeah, im not good w/ pictures and stuff, but that is exactly what i did..i used the direct link to image on imageshack...didn't work; tried andmerr's advice so i joined photobucket and it came out just fine~ thanks andmerr...
i am completely new to this picture stuff as i don't know how to resize since it's obviously too big... :( i'll keep my picture postings to a bare minimum~ :)
