Its caused by a poor/bad signal. It could be a weak signal from the provider at the moment or the cable may be loose at the back.

thanks brian you are brill, glad you are on here..we would all be lost without you. just hope the codes last longer than one evening like the ones others have left..one question though and forgive me for being think but why do you have two providers for T/W.. my box says 5b but work with 5a codes you provided?

How to Manual Input Codes
1. Menu
2. Installation
3. Parental Lock
4. Red Audio Button for Goto Key Manager
5 Scroll one down on to Nagra and select it
6. Four left arrows back take you to 'Prov ID 0X55' is N*Hell ,
7. One down arrow takes you to the 0x00 - i.e. Key 00.
Press Ok on your remote.
8. Up pops the HEX Keyboard - just type in the new numbers - it puts the dots in for you. Do this for Key 01 as well.
N*L UK 9th April
For 0x00 key Type: 46 89 6D 87 07 24 42 2F
Press OK
For 0x01 key Type: 91 28 EF B5 7B 37 1F ED
Press OK
09. Exit out -should be sorted.

tizler,,,iv done exactly that except for the prov id. mine is 0x5d and even when i try the other prov id like u say it still reverts back to 0x5d. the new codes are still in both. will a factory reset lose my 7.52 software?

Im thinking there has to be something you are missing. I know you said you have gone exactly as instructed...... have you printed off a page of in structions and looked directly at the tv when working?
Have you ever done this before or had someone done it for you?
Do you know for sure you were en-tee-el before take-over?
Is there anyway you can check that you have a full network service coming into where you have your tv? have you another box to hand for example.....?
It's frustrating but just make sure you have everything in place....
Anyone else from evensteuk's neck of the woods that can offer some words of comfort?!! if he/she (im not callin you a tranny either!!) has any hair it will have been pulled out by the end of the night!

hi prawny,,,i have done exactly the way.used neighbours subscribed stb thats fine. blackburn was auntie hell before take over. got 2 weeplay light boxes both the same. when i check current key its always on 005d. and iv tried update on and off.my kids are driving me potty and i missed the match. im gonna burn these boxes soon...and im very tempted to do a factory reset but dont know if i will lose the software(7.52)

i think the provider is the key
print out the intructions above i gave you
hi light my text by dragging the mouse over all of it and then right click on the hilight and choose print, then choose SELECTION, so it only prints whats selected, u should have a printer box come up that has these options - to either print all or selection
think what u are doing wrong is the provider -as should be

and u say your provider is diff, try that above

The only difference is I leave the parental lock on. and install lock on as well or it wont work otherwise.

Howdy EvensteUk...If you factory reset the box it will reset to the current version of firmware i.e. 7.56. it will NOT revert to any previous version... You're safe in the hands of a reset...!!! Cheers... The Scaldy One

Funny Been trying and reading the posts , Mine has been playing up for sometime and im in Central London on an old T*W Member now what did catch my eye was the firmware ? Im on 7.52 softwear and have hade no Joy what so ever with any codes so far .
I fully understand the instructions and im very gratefull for showing me the path the getting this honey running smoothly again , learnt a few things about it i never knew obviously there must be a conflict with the firmware as im not having much luck im on 7.52 myself and i cant even hold BBC1 Without it cutting off my Box as soon as the channel hits my screen its strange but it,s been like this for some time , Having read the forum and some of the last posts could it be the fact im Running 7.52 that it may cause a conflict could anyone just tell me what softwear version you have on yours at the moment and could someone point me in the right direction of getting the latest firmware running on it , thanks to yourself for taking your time to read my post ,

V7.52 should work fine & it's not the cause of your problem.
What provider code are you using?

No you won't loose your software.
Do your factory reset and it should take you back to where you were before you tried inputting the codes.
All your channels and favourites should be there.
Get you provider ID by going to.
Menu
Parental lock
Goto Key Manager ( if this didn't pop up, go back to Current password and type 7777)
Goto Key manager should then pop up, press red button on your remote control.
Then press current Key....on my box Provider ID reads 0055
On the nagra page this looks like 0x55.
So take a not of the way it changes for the nagra page and adjust your search for it on the nagra page.
Now that you have you current key go to the above posts and get you codes.

Parental lock......OFF
Install Lock.......OFF
New Password.......7777
Confirm new Password...7777
exit back to TV, go to one of the movie channels and wait for it to unscramble.
