I have just installed a neo12 mod chip in my PS2 and I am experiencing some problems. After a few teething problems I am pretty sure that the chip is installed correctly as it will play backup PS1 games, DVD's and original PS2 games.

The problem comes about when I try to run any copied PS2 games. I follow the instruction that are posted on many web sites with the result that, usualy, the console will go straight into the browser screen, it then acknowledges that there is a PS2 disc in the drive but will not boot into it.

My question is this, if the problem is with the disc or my writing of the disc, wouldn't I get a red 'insert PS2 disc' screen? Has anyone actualy had a neo12 that works OK? If yes is there any little trick I am missing?

Another reason I do not think it is the neo12 is that I have actualy had it work a couple of times. After it works once it seems to function OK until I use an original game again.

Sorry for the long post but this is driving me mad!
