hey all

got a problem. i bought a dvd from Hollywood Video the other day and today decided to watch it. the Movie is called "Secretary" and was put out by Lion's Gate.

I do not own a set top dvd player....i watch *ALL* my videos through my computer in one way or another (Mpegs, AVIs/DivX, DVDs, etc thru Media PLayer CLassic or PowerDVD, VHS thru my WInFast 200XP deluxe card).

every time i attempted to play this thing, i would get an 8 second video clip that just had the logo for Metropolis DVD, then it would go back to the menu screen.

anyone know why this is happening to me?
