hey all

i am having a problem connecting my IBM thinkpad R40 to my tv. I bought a Svideo to 3RCA cord, and i got it work ONCE, but now i cant seem to get it to work again. I plug in the cables and when i go to display setting (running XP) i select monitor 2 and extend my desktop... and click apply, now here is where it think it messes up, because i click this box and hit ok, but my screen goes black then when it comes back after a second the box is unclicked and it looks like i didnt change any settings? does anyone have step by step directions on how to get this so my desktop will show up on my PC, or even any information that might help. i got it to work once, now it doesnt want to work again. Thanks All

here are the specs in case it helps:
IBM thinkpad R40
ATI card (dont know which one, think 9000)
svideo-3RCA cord
Windows XP
Drivers ARE up to date.
