VobSub Filter is suddenly not working anymore

Hallo there,
I am almost going crazy with this problem. From one day to the other I can't select the vobsub filter anymore in any player when the right subtitle files are available (.idx and .sub with the right name in the right directory) especially with xvid encoded movies,but as well with others. I reregistered the vsfilter.dll many times but nothing is working. Analysing tool of zoomplayer says that the filter is properly installed.
Hope I hit the right dicussion forum with my qestion.
Please help me. I don't know what to do. Thanks a lot
