i have just recently got battle field i have been told it is a great game and i cant wait to play it.
as i try to install it a pop up appeared it says
[Bold]the install script engine on this machine is older than the version required to run this setup.
Please install the latest of ISScript.msi. I tried to get it and fear i got the wrong 1 becuase it still isnt working...
what tha hell is ISScript and how can i get 1 that works on my computer so I CAN PLAY BATTLEFIELD

http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108158 has very clear instructions on finding out what version of ISScript you have and how to get the right version.

This was found with a very simple Google search. Go and try that. If it still doesn't work then that's not your problem!
