gave a mac friend some dvd+r/rw's I burned on the pc. She couldn't read any of them in her iMac superdrive. is +r/rw incompatible with superdrive?

The iMac supedrive will read +R and +RW discs as long as they are data discs. For video it will only accept the -R format.
