Ok I have this DVD that will not play on the DVD player. It plays for 5 min and then skips and freezes. I opened up the DVD on the computer and there were 2 files, one audio and 1 video. Inside the files is all the others in IFO format. How can I change the format to play in the DVD player and computer? (yeah, it will not read there either, just says it is blank. But it reads on the burner) I have..

DVD Shrink (tried to use it but gets an error message with this disk)
DVD X-Copy
Clone DVD

I'm not sure what you mean by changing the format.

Is the disc a copy of a factory movie or is it a video project you made?

Make/model burner? Firmware version?

Brand/typer media? Burn speed?

Sony DRU-530A
2.0x firmware add 8X DVD-R burn speed

I don't know what type of disk it was burned on because there is a lable on it.

What I want to do is try and reburn it so that it will play. Right now it will read the warnings at the begining and then goes black. It will not go to the main selection screen. When I finaly get the movie to play it skips and freezes then eventualy just turns off. I was thinking about using DVD Shrink and then burning a new copy but shrink will not read the whole thing. So any suggestions??

If it's a bad copy there's not a whole lot that can be done. You might try using DVD Decrypter set to read at 1X.

Assuming you're talking about an adhesive label vs a label printed straight on the disc, this is very likely the cause of the problems. A lot of DVD players will have problems with labeled discs, particularly if the label isn't applied perfectly centered. You should see if you can remove the label and try playing it again.
