I have 5 or 6 episodes of a television programme that I wish to transfer from AVI to DVD. I have all the neccessary programs as per the Afterdawn guide. How should I go about doing this? Should I join the AVI's together into one long film first or should I process them separately with TMPGenc?

Both are good solutions.
But joining AVI files not always possible. They must have the same resolution etc.
However joining the files can make the authoring easier.

The thing is, how do I set my average bitrate. For instance I have 7 episodes of a programme that is roughly 25 minutes long an episode. That's 5 mins short of 3 hours, but how do I know how to set each one up in TMPGEnc so that It will pefectly fit a DVD?
