i have been trying some p2p progs for 2 weeks. so far i tried emule for a week ,w well it's good bcuz u can get any file u want but it's 2 damn slow (ihave 512kb internet) i tried overnet it s the same thing. then i tried DC++ it's GREAT for the speeds i always get 60 kb whereas in emule 20kb. But U must share like 20 GB of files to get in good hubs with a lot of people. So try it and say wat u think. cheers

I saw this thing about being a "server" or serving files would get you so you don't have to wait in que (or for as long) on IRC how do i do this?

Fserve?
its where you set up a File serveer to serve your files to other people, its a bit like XDCC but its a different trigger - more like when you FTP

FTP is great. At least you don't get banned from typing "@find" 5 times in 300 seconds. Unless of course the FServe hoster decides to enforce stupid rules.
