what is the easiest way to make a dvd from an AVI file and add subtitles?

Hi matsr,

There are several programs that can convert an AVI into a DVD, some are: TMPGEnc, DVD Santa...

Do a search on this site for "AVI to DVD" and you'll see several responses.

As for adding subtitles...that is more difficult. You must the subtitles in a file called *.SRT to be able to add them to the DVD. There are some programs to look at here http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/subtitle_tools/
