burn img file issue

I read all the threads for burning img files but I'm unsuccessful. I've tried using DVD Encrypter 3.5.1 but it said "invald file format...not supported. I've tried mounting it on Alcohol and it did not work. I've try changing file extension to .iso format but it still indicated the file is in img format. I'm running XP SP2. Help.

It seems a CloneCD image, but it needs a .CCD file and (if there's a subchannel data extraction) a .SUB file to be used.

No, All I see is the one img file. Should I down load CloneCD and try to open it?
