i have a v7 ps2 chipped with a messiah 2. i was told that ps2 games are dvd-r. would it damage my ps2 in anyway if i use dvd+r becuase thats what i use for burning my backups.

you should use dvd - r , cuz it's best for games ... and dvd + r is only good for dvd movie on a dvd player though ...

I find it hard to believe that DVD-R are better than DVD+R, considering that DVD+R are more reliable and stable than the DVD-R disks. DVD+ provides less chance for error.
