Hello. This is my First Post, hope someone can help.

My NEC NR-9100A has served me well for almost two years. Max burning speed is 40x. No problems so far.

Today, I bought a bundle of Memorex CD-R's, advertised to burn at 52x. I thought that was no problem, until I try to burn a cd with Nero v.6.3.1.25. Suddenly I can only burn at 8x. I tried another (cheap) CD, and the speed there was 24x.

Anyone got a clue to why my burner can't relate to these new CDs? I certainly haven't. Your attention is much appreciated! ;-)

Cheers,
- yallabong.
