i am going to use dvd x copy and i want to know if i need a drive to read dvds and one to burn or can i have an all in one drive to copy a dvd? thanks

A burner will read the discs as well as burn them :)

If you haven't bought XCopy yet, don't buy it. The company is out of business and the software needs to be activated online. Try DVD Shrink - it's better and it's free.
