hmm thanks for the simple answer but i really want to get this to work with an external drive i dont care how hard and confusing and time consumming it is i want to do it so is it possible? if so how?

there is no known way to use a usb hd yet.

hard option = design a program that will let you use the hd with usb ports, that should take you quite sum time and if you get it right u can use an external hd...
