Hello all, have to say, i am a newbie in this topic. My boss just gave me a bunch of video sources in different format: MiniDV, VHS and Hi8.He asked me to backup these stuff in DVD Movie format with some editing. I can get the software from our software supplies, but I just have $1000 budget in my equipment ( I got my Canopus ADVC 300 today). So I have to forget the NLE card. :-(

My question is what kind of software do i need in video encoding, editing,authoring and DVD burnning.( in business level video/audio effect).
