Has anyone had any success creating a working backup of TW2K5?
I've tried a disc copy and an image burn with DVD Decrypter, but both freeze in the same place (the first loading screen). I'm using Verbatim Advanced Azo DVD-R. If it's getting to this point does that mean that the issue isn't with the media?
I burned Burnout 3 using DVD Decrypter and it works fine, so I'm stumped. What chances are there of some sort of patch coming out?

i don't think anyone here knows the answer to this question, i posted the same thread and no one had any suggestions. i'm having the same problem, but sometimes i get past the black loading screen, nonetheless, it will just freeze somewhere else.
i tried just about everything too, i'm ready to try one more thing or wait for a possible patch.

i just now burned a copy of tiger 2005 and it works great.
ive got a PAL v9 with a ripper 2 gold and used verbatim dvd+r

Ya, maybe they recalled it because Vijah Singh is the top dog in golf and they wanted to change the box art.

The fault is when you try to play Seve Ballesteros in the legend tour the game freezes. Only happens on PS2 and affects every copy in the UK

I burnt TW2005 Using Nero 6 and it works 99%.....Can't go online yet.......working on the patch though.
