Hey everyone im new to the xbox scence as i'm a ps2 owner dont kill me yet lol i want to get an xbox cause it looks like you can really do some crazy stuff with it installing windows and stuff thats crazy lol i want to go buy an xbox right now lol but i want to know what modchip to buy whats the best chip????

The best is the new X3 from team xecuter http://www.teamxecuter.com/index.php easy to flash (on screen menus) check out the specs.

Right now, if you are going to buy a new xbox, v1.6 is probably the only version you will get. For v1.6, there is no solderless mod. You need to "restore the LPC" by soldering. You can probably find some earlier versions xbox that is used or re-furbished at Electronic Boutique or other shops in the mall where they sell/trade used consoles.
