V9 UK PAL PS2 7 month old
DNS3 modchip profesionally installed 6 months ago

Backups played fine at first now either don't load at all or will load, fmv will be choppy it will freeze up & crash. have tried a few originals and they all work fine. I asked the guy who chipped it & he recommended cleaning the lens with a qtip & alcohol which i did but to no avail. Could there be a problem with the chip install, loose wire or something or is that ruled out coz sometimes games do load, i even tried a brand new disc coz of scratches still no luck, some advice would be appreitated, Thanks
