Many Media brands often change the actual manufacturer of their media so maxells maybe riteks one run and cmc the next ect. And remember you can get a lemon in any product occasionally. I've been through open reel /beta & vhs hifi /MD/cassette /8-track/ CDR/CDRW & DVDR+ &- and cdr media seems to be about the lowest in error rate - in the audio realm . DVDR recording &media is a horse of a different color I'm still a newbie to that world but I'm learning ! With cdr's selling for .15 to.25cents or so with sales & rebates you can afford a coaster every once in awhile! AS Albert Einstein once said it's all relative- later cuzzin Bigtoxy69
