I have been burning successfully using DVD shrink 2 (I have downloaded the latest today) and Nero but after doing many have come across an error message in shrink - cyclic redundancy check - and can no longer burn in either pogram. This computer is relatively new. I have done heaps of things from the manual that are supposed to "fix" problems. Help!

It may just be a dirty or scracthed disc. Clean it up and try again. You need to read the Forum rules. The first rule is to run a search on your question (cyclic redundancy check ). This would have given you your answer.
If the clean up does not fix the problem, try a different disc or reinstall Shrink. Let us know if there is still a problem afterwards.
