Hi Guys

I have several avi/divx files which I am attempting to convert to dvd's. If I play the file using media player they play great, but if I play them in VirtualDub or convert them to dvd using DVDSanta I get a problem whereby every second or so the video will freeze for about one frame. Sometimes this is not noticable, but if something moves across the screen it is realy obvious.

The problem occurs before they are written to disc do it is not the media. I have uninstalled the divx codecs and the same thing happens with dvdsanta( virtualdub cannot read the files), but still play fine with media player.

I have decoded the videos with nothing else running on the PC and diconnected from the internet.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
