I have a P4-3200 and lots of hard drive space, and I close down all the applications I can before starting a rip from a vhs tape. I use PowerDirector and I capture in .avi high quality format.

Problem : I'm nearly always out of sync - the sound gets something like a 0.5 sec delay, and it's driving me nuts. How can I safely rip something without suffering these delays? Any special program? Any tips?
