OGM program question

I just downloaded a bunch of stuff that automatically turned my OGM files into OGG files, but the player that i downloaded after to play the OGG files is at <http://www.ashampoo.com/frontend/products/php/product.php?idstring=0014&session_langid=2 > .(I think the link is fixed...)
It says that it handles OGM, and OGG files, along with about 20 others, but do I still need the vorbis stuff and all of that that went into my System32 folder?

Im just... new and confused. The videos run fine. My tray icon that controls whether the video is english/japanese or if it has subtitles- is that coming up only because I downloaded the vorbis stuff?
