I've been trying to copy Matrix Revolutions, DVD Decrypter can't cope (gets to about 15%)
What do I need?

Decent, undamaged original may help - if Decrypter can't rip it, you ain't got much hope. Bit more info re error messages etc. may help.

It is a decent, undamaged original!!
The error was something like:
illegal error in track.
Not that, but something like it.

If you're encountering an error at the same spot on a clean and undamaged original then you probably have a bad original.

Some discs get out of the factory with small bits of corrupt data that don't bother a standalone player but cause a PC drive to have fits.

It may look like that with the naked eye, but you've got a bad factory disc. Or a crappy reader ... but I think it's the disc.

I've successfully rip all three of the Matrix movies with DVD Decrypter.

... If you're trying to read the disc with a DVD writer, you may be more successful if you use a DVD ROM drive ... they're better at reading "pressed" DVDs ...
