i just got a new xbox and it was moded by someone and i have another xbox that i want to mod to. i was wondering if i could use the ethernet wire to send information from the xbox to a computer to store the information temporaroly. i also wanted to knwo how i can transfer the information from a preloaded with games hard drive to a new 200gb hard drive. thanks you!

I think i know what you talking about. So you want to transfer files from a modded xbox over to the pc for temporary storage? Then you need to FTP your xbox to your pc using a program called FlashFXP. There is a great tutorial on this at xboxscene.com, check it out.
