Had a weird thing happening recently. i tried to burn a DVD of a TV movie I acquired with EyeTv and various brand new DVDs I tried got ejected by my standard Apple Superdrive (Pioneer 104 with sw hack and region free). Not only did it spit out 2 new TDK media discs - a brand that worked fine before, but it also spit out any commerical DVD movie I tried to watch, including movies that had played fine before. These were region 2 films and the region was set to 2 so that wasn't the problem. I also tried burning a data DVD and it spit out the disc then too and refused to burn it. Toast version 6.0.7 kept saying to insert a valid disc. This on a MDD Dual 1.25 GHz desktop Mac.

I tried rebooting and then it accepted a movie DVD and later a virgin DVD disc and Toast burned it. But I haven't seen this behavior before and am worried.

Anybody else come across this glitch?
